I've had Center Ice the last three years but am passing on it this season largely due to the fact that I'll be more concentrated on the Cyclones season now that they have returned.
I would say it's worth it if you want to watch a broad amount of teams and games. I never had any problems with the quality. It's also nice to get mostly all of the CBJ games including the ones that don't air on FSN.
Glad you enjoy it. I skipped on ordering the package this season, like I said before mostly in part to the Cyclones being back and I can catch a majority of the CBJ games on FSN Ohio.
The Center Ice package is very nice though, and pretty well worth it when you compare it to some of the other sports packages.
Watching the Montreal broadcast the other night was rather interesting as it was all in French. Two years of French in high school just doesn't cut it. I did realize that the announcers weren't so important in enjoying the game.
While the Center Ice is a little pricey, you are correct that when compared to the other sports packages it's a pretty good deal. I also have the NFL Sunday Ticket. I enjoy it, but it is a bit expensive. Of course, there is savings given the fact that I don't have to go to a bar to watch all the games and spend $2.50 for a beer.
We skipped Center Ice last year because we had to save some money and it was really tough. This year my wife insisted that we HAD to get it and I did not argue. Now the only argument is which game we watch.
