| Ok, did anyone else read the post on the Cyclones Booster Forum about Pat Pylypuik? What a nasty post it was. But, thanks to the poster it is now gone and SO IS OUR FORUM!. It was a blatant attack on PP on a public forum. Disgusting to say the least. Not sure who it was but there were some clues in the post that almost gave them away. dvlsdtr was the name if I remember it correctly. Lots of venom. I understand clearly why they deleted that post and the forum. |

According to Joe@ITC, there is currently a "legal issue" that's yet to be resolved. He can't say anything about it and doesn't know how it's going to turn out, however, he has stated in the past that players' personal lives are not open to discussion on the boards.
The BC forums are now to contain solely news related to that booster club. Any team or league news should be discussed elsewhere.
The Cyclones and the Ft Wayne BC forum were both deleted.
As to the post itself, yah, that was the first anti-PP post I've seen ever. Most anyone who has talked about Pat has mentioned what a class act and a dedicated professional he is. So that'un took me by surprise. |

I can only assume it was someone with an agenda. I think we're all pretty familiar with that whole deal.
Oh well, we still have the ECHL board over there, and we still have this forum. That's good enough for me. |

And, it wasn't even anything to do with a player but a President/COO of a hockey club. I agree it was obvious that this person had an agenda. If that person can be that viscious hiding behind a internet name just think how they would be in person.....sure don't want to know that person!
In Pat's defense........he has a job to do, a big one and there is NO way he can please everyone. It's an impossible task. But, there was absolutely NO need for a 'person' (won't put what I would like to) to go on a public board, especially one titled Cincinnati Boosters and embarrass us with that outrage.
I hope someone has a copy of that post. I'm sure they can find out who it was and I hope they do. Pat is working very hard to put a good team on the ice and also make hockey fun in our arena again. Look at all of the changes already. Keep up the good work, Pat, there are lots of fans supporting you. |
