Anybody see McCollum play last night for the Wings? MacDonald let in 5 so they put him in. He let in 3 of 8 shots. MacDonald went back in for the 3rd period. Final wings 3 blues 10. Bad game all around. McCollum looked like a little kid playing with the big boys.

Goalies jumping straight from the coast to the NHL really never works. The play is so much faster and the shots are so much harder/accurate that they don't really stand a chance.

The Thrashers had to do it years ago with Berkhoel and it was uuuuuugly. He had to play multiple games and got lit up. Probably ruined the guy.

Yes, I grew up playing hockey... In Alabama.

Yeah, being a big Wings guy, I wasn't really thrilled about the score or how bad they played. I think maybe they were channeling their inner Cyclone from a week ago, or maybe fate just wanted McCollum to see what it felt like to be on the other end of that kind of game.
