It is just me or are the Cyclones snakebit? Last night the played hard and fought in the corners, made some great passes in the offensive zone, but every rebound was JUST out of the reach of the crashing player. Every shot was JUST wide, or JUST into Dayton's netminder.
Maybe its the jerseys. They need to wear the Red ones at the next home game to break the luck. Maybe the red sweaters will get them back on track.
Gadja's takedown of the Dayton player was fantastic. That was one of the best moves Ive seen in a while. |

They came out so strong and aggressive the 1st period; if it weren't for the Dayton goaltender, there would have been at least 3 goals scored. I thought they looked like they had lost confidence the last 2 periods--passing was tentative, shooting was tentative. It was painful to watch.
I hope they can get their game back for the Nailers on Saturday. |

You're excited over a take down? It wasn't even a win in that fight.
I guess after your team is subjected to a 5-0 shutout, AT HOME, you look for anything remotely positive in a game like that.

Are you perhaps one of the throng of Daytonians who've been at USBA?
The Bombers have been pulling an impressive number of fans. How many have been coming? Are they from Dayton or Dayton ex-patriots?
I'm planning on being in Dayton for the Dec 2 game. My Dad and some friends are all going.
Should be fun! |

I guess there's a few things you don't understand, and also why "flying V" chants will only get looked at with apathy ... not a unique "chant" in the slightest. We could respond by chanting about Dayton's former AHL team ... but we can't. 
1. Teams do lose at home sometimes.
2. It's not uncommon for fans to get excited over a fight, especially when their team slams the other down in that formation.
3. Just be glad DJ Mitts wasn't as annoying that night with the usual dueling chants he tries to start. |

Don't forget about the IHL Dayton Gems.
They won the IHL Championship in 69, 70 and 76.
I'm sure the Ducks won more though. |

Oh wait. I forgot my team has to be winning in order to have fun!!! DUR, SILLY ME! I'm supposed to give up and sit on my hands and be mad whenever they are down! :(!!!!!!

I thought it was one of those unwritten rules of sports.... Stadium chants don't work when they have to be led by a guy with a house mic. It usually just makes them sound incredibly lame.
Now, if they would play some Vanilla Ice... *then* the place would rock! |

| Amazing. Dayton finally gets a team with a .500 record and they start running their mouths like they invented the game. Congrats!! I guess after looking at Dayton's record the last few years I guess it is pretty exciting. Having a team with a shot at a winning record once every 5 years is quite an acomplishment. If I recall correctly, Dayton was shut out 3-0 here earlier this year. Where were the Bomber fans then??? |
