| Could not agree more. I hate to see the ECHL lose any teams. |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

Interesting that this news was not on the ECHL website today.
Two big questions are the impact on division alignments and more importantly the schedule-especially this late in the year. 72 games need to be added among the remaining 11 teams in the Conference. Elmira and Reading each had 15 against Trenton so their schedule really needs a major overhaul. Keep in mind that it is a snow balling effect as it is not just filling a date but that when you fill a date you most likely do so with a team that is already scheduled somewhere else that night especially since Chicago gave the conference 12 teams or six games on a Friday/Saturday night. Now there will be an extra team not playing, that team needs to find another game and date. We had only three games scheduled against Trenton and Elmira and two against Reading. I would expect to see both Reading and Elmira a lot more and we will lose a few Friday/Saturday home games replaced by weekday games. |

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

and they are back!!!
http://echl.com/echl-board-of-governors-approves-membership-for-trenton-titans-p171962
quote: PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Thursday that the Board of Governors has unanimously approved a new Membership application of the Trenton Titans for admission to the ECHL.
The Trenton Membership is owned by Blue Line Sports, LLC with Rich Lisk serving as managing partner. The ownership ensures that hockey remains in Trenton and will return to its roots as Trenton joined the ECHL as the Titans in 1999-2000, and won the Kelly Cup in 2005.
The team replaces the Trenton Devils, who ceased operations in early July and turned in their Membership. The team will commence operations immediately and will play in the 2011-12 season under the existing schedule finalized in late April.
“We are extremely pleased that this ownership group has stepped forward to keep professional hockey in Trenton,” said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna. “We all understand that there is an extraordinary amount of work to be done prior to the season but have confidence that under the leadership of Rich Lisk and his team that the market can once again be a strong Member of the ECHL.”
“Having been involved with the original Titans, and what we were able to bring to the Greater Trenton community back then, this is the chance of a lifetime for me,’’ said Lisk. “With my staff, I can’t wait to see the smiling faces of fans in the Sun National Bank Center.
“To those fans, we say, this is your team. From our ownership, through our front office and on-ice operations, we’re all in this together. The Titans are back.”
Ticket information is available by calling the Titans at (609) 341-1100. The team's website is www.trentontitanshockey.com.
The ECHL will play with 20 teams in 2011-12, an increase from 19 in the 2010-11 season.

| Great to see the Trenton Titans back! Trenton was one of the model franchises in all of minor pro hockey when they first entered the ECHL. |

| From what I had read the biggest problem they had was being the Trenton "Devils" in Philly's backyard. Perhaps a return to the Titans, with a Flyers affiliation, will bring their numbers up. |

Here's my question. When Trenton became the Devils, John Hamel kept calling them the Titan's out of habit for the first several match ups that season. So how many times will Brunker call them the Devils?
