Anyone have info on why he signed an ECHL contract? Hard to imagine why a guy who was once a real hot prospect in the Kings organization and actually had some time in the NHL would sign here for ECHL money. My only guess is that he is auditioning and is hoping to get a call up and an AHL contract and has an out in his Cyclones contract if that happens. Doubt he will stick around if that doesn't happen fairly soon. Nice move by Skalde even if it is just a temp solution until Chet and Brian get sent down.

Probably just a guy without a contract that needed a job. Sometimes it really is that simple.
Yes, I grew up playing hockey... In Alabama.

Don't hold out hope for Brian Foster to be sent to us. Manny Legace got hurt in last night's San Antonio game so Brian went in. We'll see one of the goalies currently with Milwaukee.
Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.
