Hey there everyone. I am Ryan and just wanted to see if anyone can help me help you. I have been attending Cyclones games since 2009. 2 year season ticket holders in section 112. I have two game worn jerseys, a 09-10 Reynolds 27 signed, and a 10-11 Sproat 26 signed.
Since these are signed and a bit of a momento, I do not want to wear these around and chose to display these. So I needed to find a nice display case. After searching the web I was able to find a guy who makes cases for almost everything.

After talking with him, I was able to get custom sized jersey cases for hockey jerseys since the ones he has aren't quite sized right for hockey jerseys. After measuring my jerseys laid out I came up with a size of 32 inches high by 30 inches wide. I think this is the common size 54 or 56. If you compare to his sizes online, he did not have anything that would fit this as the Medium case is too short and too wide and the large is way too wide but ok on heigth.
He is willing to setup custom cases for anyone interested. The more I can order the cheaper the deal. The current size that we decided on was 36 inches high by 34 inches wide. He mentioned that you have to give about 3 inches on each dimension for wood thickness. So internal size would be 33 inches high by 31 inches wide. This gives based on my measurements an extra inch on each dimension. If needed, I can have them made an inch bigger in each direction to give a bit more play.
- Forgot to mention that I have looked into the sizes and feel that based on measurements I will probably go with a case size around 40x34 ish at this time. This should accomodate goalie sizes and larger jerseys. -
Prices at a minimum order of 4 would run $99 dollars a piece SHIPPED. I would not charge an extra penny for distributing them to anyone. At an order of only 2, he is asking $110 a piece shipped, which is around $10-15 cheaper from his large size online as they do not include shipping.
The features of these include everything listed online. He includes the hangar for the jersey, wall mounts, a brass hinged door. You can choose the finish between light oak, cherry, walnut, or glossy black. I also have asked for the felt backing to make it more presentable. This is INCLUDED in the price. There are a ton of colors to choose for the felt back.
I will be going with a glossy black finish with black felt backing. I just do not want to not have a red back not match, and I feel that the white backing with a white jersey will be a bit too bright. An all black will give a nice shadowbox look and feel like in a museum.
Please feel free to ask any questions. I am hoping to do this soon. Again, the more we order, the cheaper he will make the price. If we can get upwards of 6 or more we could be taking down to 70-80 a piece or less. I will order a minimum of two, and he is discounting at 3 or more.
