He was placed on waivers today. He is on the $125 waivers and if he clears waivers him and Florida can terminated the contract. |

Interesting. Did he have to get recalled to FLA to be put on waivers? Was he on an NHL contract?

Yes, he was on an NHL deal. He had to be recalled in order to be released, similar to Adam Comrie (who has yet to show up anywhere).

Thanks for clarifying. I figured that's what it had to be. The Comrie thing is pretty strange from every aspect. |
