Chris Cahill (LW) Milwaukee ADD Recalled from loan to Cincinnati (ECHL)
Chris Mueller (C)Milwaukee DEL Recalled from loan by Nashville (NHL)
With Cahill being recalled we only have 14 players active not counting Foss and Annesley on IR....I hope Skalde is on the phone trying to fill the roster!! |

| Why did he release the 2 players from the SPHL earlier this week? He had a short bench then. Who knows why he does what he does. |

We saw Fletcher last year from Knoxville,Berkley Scott from Knoxville is looking good in the SPHL, Barr is playing a more then a point per game with Danville of the Federal Hockey League, and the brought back Klaver. I really wish we could have a more concrete relationship with Knoxville because they have always been one of the top teams in the SPHL but I do not think that league allows concrete affiliates with other leagues like the FHL does. |

Barret Ehgoetz (F)
Cincinnati
Sitting on the couch watching TV
What a truly sad situation, and in the end the fans lose as we get to watch a bunch of A players rotate through a revolving door instead of a guy that'd better have his number in the rafters one day.
This sort of behavior and the inconsistent product on the ice is really really making me think about not buying any sort of season package next year.

@Catch - That's a dead horse you're beating on there. I'm not going to speculate on why Skalde didn't ask Barrett to return this season although I have several theories and it's probably a bit of each. However, things being what they are, do you think Barrett would actually want to come back after getting dismissed they way he did? I don't think I would without some major begging and pleading.
@justmom and BP2011 - I'm with you guys. Why release these guys so fast? Skadle is always stating things about only only bringing in guys that can contribute, not just "warm bodies" and what not. He talks about lodging and financial issues. I think it's crap. If the roster is thin and you bring these guys in, keep them here until guys get sent back. If a guy has a room in the team apartments and gets called up, great, put his **** in a box and shove it in a closet. When he gets sent back he can get his room back. I'm guessing these guys toiling in lower level hockey leagues would gladly sleep on a couch and have their shot catching on in a higher league. If they don't get a chance to practice with the team they will always just be the "warm bodies" that don't really contribute. |

I don't really care "why" Barret isn't on the roster in terms of who is mad at who and what-not. What I care about is that our coach didn't have the foresight to understand that we'd NEED that guy.
I didn't buy the "no room on the roster" crap in September and I damned sure don't buy it now. Hell, we have room on the roster for Twister now, and have had it for weeks.
Again... The whole situation sucks for the team and the fans both, and I blame the coach 100%. He needs to do better, like yesterday, because under his watch we have gone from one of the premier on-ice products in the league to a .500 team that can't even start a game with a full bench. The fact that he ran off a hall of famer that was still contributing and is paying a price for it now is just icing on the cake.
