I guess I'm going to have to watch the crowd instead of Liambus fight (why does he pick a guy with such a size and apparent reach advantage to fight?) I digress...Anyway after the fight, I noticed that a gentleman in section 116-117 was being escorted out slowly. What did he do?

there tonite a rare miss for me but
My son had a band concert tonite!
but on the liambas thing he is always
giving up inches and lbs in every fight
Liambas is only 5'10" 195lbs and everyone he fights is 6' 2" or more
and 210+ I tip my hat to him he does
what noone else wants to do and go out
There and throw the bones

Say what you will about Mike "Punch the Sky" Liambas, but he sure can take a punch. And another punch. And another punch. I credit his low center of gravity.

Edit: Mike is 5'9".

I saw the guy get kicked out, too. However, I have no idea what transpired that led to his removal. There were 3 CPD officers talking to him in the aisle between the two levels. If Five-O was involved, he must have done something not good.

Liambas does not have the size to be an effective enforcer.

He has the heart and the balls, but a big part of being effective in that role is intimidation and he doesn't have that. Most of the guys in that role in the entire league have height, weight and reach on him.
But as noted he gets full marks for heart and the ability to take punches, which he will get a bunch of before the end of the year.

It seems to me, looking at the game sheets after the fact, he gets at least 1 five min major in almost every game.
Just my opinion, but I think that is a liability the team can do without!

The majors are generally coincidental for fighting. It's not like Liambas is going to be lighting the lamp in the time that he would otherwise be on the ice. If anything, you have to worry about the potential momentum the other team gains from a loss by our Napoleonic Pugilist.

It's those stupid minor penalties that really hurt.

I'll give Liambas some cred - his game, when he was playing D has gotten a bit better over the past couple games. The first few on D, it seemed he was getting up to the speed, since he hadn't played D in a while.

Regarding the guy getting kicked out - I didn't see specifically what he did to warrant it - but he and his buddy in the blue hat were harassing some of us in rows 119 until the usher told them to go back to their seats.

Apparently, he must have done something to some of the fans up there too, because they were excited to see him go too. One of the guys was even laughing, as he was filming the guy being taken away, on his phone.
