| Is anyone going to Wheeling for the game on Wednesday? What section is behind the Cyclones' bench? I'd love to take my son on a road trip. |

It was a fun time. One other Cyclone family was there; they will be doing a pilgrimage to Dayton (Troy) tonight. It was a game the Clones should have won, despite Wheeling having Collins back. As far a attendance is concerned, there was no way there where 2500 people there, as stated on the ECHL stat sheet. I wonder how they get those figures. I figured about 1200 or so, but no more.
If you do take in a game at Wheeling, there is a $99 package which includes hotel 2 blocks away from the rink, a $25 dinner coupon at a Sports Bar (not bad food, either), game tickets, and a continental breakfast next door to the hotel. Pretty good deal! |

Thanks Hakeedude for your 2 cents on the attendance and the hotel
package deal. Nothing against Wheeling,but if we are the only ones
giving honest attendance figures,the question is why? The league
wants good counts,but look at the image(black eye) we have as
compared to the inflated numbers of other teams.On that ticket deal,
was that through the wheeling team because $200 for two people that
includes two meals,two tickets and a hotel room sounds great.Maybe
the Cyclones could work up a deal at the Wildwood Inn like that. |

It was through the Nailers. But get this---not $200 but a total of $99 for me and my son. They didn't ask who was with me, so I assume that price stands for 2 adults as well.
LOL about the Wildwood. Do they have a hockey theme room now??? |
