Carter, a Mississauga, Ontario native, joins Cincinnati on its season-long road trip after completing a four-year career at the University of Prince Edward Island. In 14 games this year, he posted a team-high 22 points to finish off his senior campaign. In 97 collegiate games, the six-foot-one forward collected 128 points (61 goals, 67 assists) – ranking in the top five on the team’s scoring list in each of his four seasons. In 2010-11, he was named to the CIS (Canadian NCAA) All-Second Team.
Carter will make his Cincinnati debut tomorrow night as the Cyclones open a six-game swing through the South Division against the Gwinnett Gladiators. Fans can hear all the action of the tilt on the Cyclones Radio Network beginning at 6:50pm with the opening face-off to follow at 7:05pm.
