Looks like Steve Martinson is grasping at straws. I believe he is still suspended, so he's trying to position himself for the playoffs.

I was kind of impressed with the brand of hockey Chicago had
Been Playing lately too. Enjoyed last game alot Oh well.

First game back and DiDiomete has a Charging minor and a Game Misconduct for a secondary altercation.

Will the league sit him for those? I'm not sure what are suspendable offenses?

Express come back from three goals down in 3rd period with 4 straight goals to win with 58 minutes of penalties. Looks like Martenson had decided to try and goon his way into the playoffs. Should be mayhem in Chicago Wed night and here Saturday as both or one of the teams will probably be fighting to get in.

I have e-mailed the league asking for an explanation of this. Obviously Chicago traded him with the understanding his new team would immediately cut him so Chicago could get him off the roster for the seven games. My question is how can you be suspended for games in which you are not eligible to play because you are not on anyone's roster? I am sure the Cyclone's front office is asking them the same question
