I read an article on the Wheeling Intelligencer site that stated they would not be playing any games in Johnstown next season. It looks like two non profit groups purchased the team. I'm happy to see the team is going to be around next year and hopefully the new ownership can find a way to keep the team going as the economy and population in that area continues to decline.

Johnstown is getting a Tier II junior team in the NAHL. The new pro league forming, NPHL, pitched to put a team in Johnstown, but the city chose the junior route.
