| Skalde is 68-57-19 as head coach. However for the last two years there really has been something different about the team. They still have winning records, but unlike Weber's teams that when they lost 1 game they bounce back to win 4 or 5 straight before they lost again, rarely lost two or three in a row. If Skalde's teams won 3 or 4 straight, they would lose 3 or 4 straight right back and that is what is the most depressing and really cost them the last two years. Yes first you need a winning record, but as people have been saying, this league is not the FHL or the SPHL, its REALLY competitive now IMO and a winning record can now get you tee times when they could be practicing for games this week. IMO Skalde is a CHL/IHL coach and he brought that system to an ECHL team and thats not going to match well, winning record, well yes, but good hockey and DEEP playoff runs not so much. Last two years winning record yes, good hockey, not really, playoff runs, well if you call the quick 4 games from Reading last year and missing the playoffs this year deep, that wont cut it. I think change will be coming! |

| 68-57-19 is not a winning record. Bottom line is wins and losses, he is 68-76. Yeah he snagged an extra point those 19 games, but its still an L. |

yep! under the formula provided by dtwells, we went 35-37 this year and 33-39 last year... losing seasons. OT and a SO are only ways to get extra points, but they are still losses, as he said.
This coming after 44-28 (59-38), 41-31 (49-38), and 55-17 (71-23)
numbers don't lie... but this is a development league, and I just dont think Jarrod is good at that. We need a coach who can make players successful and get them in the AHL and NHL. |

In hockey, it doesn't go by winning percentage but rather points percentage. You could have 72 shootout losses and that equates to .500 because you snagged 72 of a possible 144 points. |
