That's neither here nor there nor probably true. I merely stated that Getzlaf is not a great player. You stated that he's one of greatest players in the world. He's not.
Calling a guy who has finished in the top 10 in NHL scoring once in his entire career one of the greatest players in the world is patently absurd. Ask any scout, GM, AGM, coach or ticket taker.

| NHL scouts, GM's and assistant-GM's don't measure a player's worth by stats, like some fans do. Ask any NHL scout, GM, assistant-GM. Oh wait...you don't know any well enough to have a hockey conversation with them. :) |

Yes, Don. I know. You are a player. You are known. A big time guy in NHL circles. Your assessments of Desharnais (invisible in AHL and only gonna see an NHL game by buying a ticket), and Desjarding (non AHL caliber-best gaa in AHL two years ago/3rd best this season) and projections of Sixsmith and Aubin as NHLers has had to solidify your reputation as a great talent evaluator.
Have you ever been even reasonably close in assessing the talent of any Cyclones player in the past 6 years? I didn't think so. As Tracy Jones says: "You never played the game." And it shows.
