Former IHL Cyclones defenseman Dallas Eakins will be given strong consideration to be the next head coach of the Calgary Flames. Eakins is considered the top coaching prospect in the AHL, where he serves as the head coach of the Toronto Marlies.
Former AHL Ducks head coach Brad Shaw, currently an assistant with the St. Louis Blues, is also someone Flames GM Jay Feaster has an interest in talking to. |
