Former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks right wing Pierre Parenteau will be a hot commodity when he becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1.
The Ottawa Senators, Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburg Penguins and Montreal Canadiens are among the teams Parenteau will attraction interest from around the league, along with his current club, the NY Islanders.
Not bad for someone that a long gone but not forgotten and currently banned poster on this site said was nothing more than a passenger on his line with the Islanders. |

Pierre Parenteau has inked a four-year, $16 million deal with the Colorado Avalanche.
Not bad...not bad at all.
Other former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks signed today as unrestricted free agents include: Zenon Konopka, two years with Minnesota; Aaron Rome, three years with Dallas; Sheldon Brookbank, two years with Chicago; Dustin Penner, re-signed one year with Los Angeles and Chris Mason, one year with Nashville.
