Like the Cyclones, Florence Freedom is a minor league sport that the local news barely gives a notice of. Florence is in the playoffs and their first round games will be Saturday, Sunday and Monday if needed. Best of 5 w/ series now at 1 & 1. Playing 6PM Saturday night. Florence lost Saturday night but pulled out a win Sunday night w/ a 3-run homer with 2 outs and down by one in the bottom of the night. They play on the road Monday night for the final game of the best of five. A win and they play in the finals.
Florence is in the league championship with their win last night. The league is playing a 2-3 series with games 1 & 2 in Florence on Wednesday and Thursday and the final three on the road.

Actually, it's a 2-2-1 series. Game 5 would be in Florence on 9/18.
Thanks for the update. Last night when I looked at the Frontier League site, they listed it as a road game for game 5. This might give us all a chance at another title game to watch. I can count two ECHL titles and one Arena football title. Maybe not the Super Bowl or the World Series, but any multi-state league title is worth celebrating !
