CINCINNATI, Ohio – The 2007 Rbk ECHL All-Star Game will be televised in Cincinnati on Time Warner Cable, Wednesday night (Jan. 17). The game, which pairs the American Conference against the National Conference, will take place in Boise, Idaho at the Qwest Arena. Faceoff is at 9pm local time (7pm MT). The game will be carried on channel 99 on the Time Warner system.

| So can someone explain to me how Adam Berkhoel walked away with the MVP award when it was Cedric who pitched a shutout? |

I was wondering the same thing. Cedric was the winning goalie as well!
I was most interested in seeing the play of the National Conf in respect to an anticipated Cyclone Kelly Cup run. As such, it sure looked like the American conference dominated the play. |

I watched the game on chcannel 99 but didn't get to see the awards because it shut down as soon as the game was over. IMHO Cedric should have been the MVP. He was the only goalie on either side to pitch a shutout. I also think the announcers didn't give him any respect. They hardly mentioned him or his play.  |

| Cedric did get the shaft last night and everyone agreed...it was all the talk at the post game party amongst the players and Chuck and even the team owner who was in town for the game. Ray said he's going to bring it up at the next meeting...not that we think it will do anything but at least your opinion will be heard! It was nice to see Cedric so humble aboutt the situation. He was just happy to be there and get to know and play with some of the guys he's used to playing against (he even told me that Tardif from Toledo isn't that bad of a guy...boo!!!) Holly definitely told Cedric that he got hosed and should have been MVP right in front of Berkhoel (w/o realizing who he was). The look on the guys face was priceless :-) |
