Tyler is a member of the USA 20-under team competing in the 2013 World Juniors Championships in Ufa Russia. On Thursday they upset heavily favored Canada 5-1 in the semi-finals. They face Sweden in the finals, which can be seen live at 8am Saturday on the NHL network (with reruns being aried after that I'm sure).
Tyler Biggs is having a solid year in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals, ranking second on the team in points (33) and third in goals (15). He is averaging just under a point-per-game. Whether he goes on and plays 10-plus years in the NHL or becomes another in a long line of first-round busts will depend on how hard he wants to compete every game, every shift. There are some question marks that surround him regarding that issue, as it does with a lot of 18-19 year-old players.
