Just noticed that Kirtland was the #1 star for the K-Wings last night and picked up his 2nd goal of the year.

If no one knows, he has been the Cyclones video coordinator all year. He played a little at Ohio State. When Kalamazoo came here on Presidents Day they were short guys and called the Cyclones that morning to see if they knew of anyone who could play for them. Skalde told them about Kirtland and the fact that he had filled in 3 times this year when the Cyclones needed an extra skater and said they could use him if they wanted. Well, Kalamazoo kept him around and he has now played in 4 games for them.

He is honestly probably happy that he lasted more than just that first game with them. It is cool they made him the #1 star for his last game with them.
