We are all thinking it, last game shouldn't have gone down that way. Thinking back since the 90s I cannot think of a time where the Clones benefitted from a single goal like the one that tied the game in the third last night.

I can remember a time where Geoff Sergent when out of his crease to play a puck and it froze at the right face off circle. Geoff couldn't get there, expecting the puck to continue towards him and a forward from the other team simply grabbed up the puck and skated past him for a more than open net goal.

Then there was the time during a delayed call against the opposing team where our goaltender left the ice in favor of an extra skater, leaving the net open, and Todd Simon from beneath the goal line sends a pass to the high slot where no one was waiting and.....well slid the length of the ice into our own goal.

The Clones seemed to control the game, except in keeping a lead. Maybe relaxed a bit after scoring a goal. Like I said it shouldn't have gone down that way. I hate when fans say "let's get that game back" I would rather say "get that kinda game out of your system" That is your one game. From now on keep your foot on the pedal. I"M NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL BY READING

I had to leave after the first overtime, so didn't hear the call of the game winning goal. What happened? Nick has referred to it as a "lucky bounce" several times. What were the circumstances?

I was incredibly bummed to hear the tying goal was a fluke bounce. Painful.

Reggie, I didn't feel that the game winner was all that much of a fluke goal, I think This Bobby Shea kid found himself with a lane and simply beat Houser. The game should have been over in regulation and we had nearly killed off a 3 minute Reading power play, when Reading dumped the puck into their offensive zone and Houser went to play it behind his goal but it ricoceted right towards our net. You dump that puck in the same way a 5000 times and maybe once it ricocets towards the net, but it's one of those shuda-cuda-wouda things. It is why we love this game and hate this game at the same time.

SCUBA, you must be high. Were you watching the same game everyone else was? The puck was on the boards and took a bounce right to Shea in the slot! Yeah he made a good shot, but there wouldn't have been a lane for him had the puck not taken a weird bounce from that Tifu idiot on the boards. The only thing you were right about in this post is that the game should have been over in regulation.

@PsychFan, whooaaaa drop the tone down alittle, No I wasn't watching. I was in a pseudo-busy emergency department listening on-line in between patient care. Brunker cannot detail every bounce, ricoccet, and path of the puck. I heard Shea with the puck and then Brunker confirmed Reading's Goal.....PERIOD, then I turned if off, so I didn't hear post commentary, no replay, nothing! in fact it sounded like...well Shea got the puck and scored. Nevertheless, regardless of how Shea got the puck, it sounded like Shea was still uncovered and beat Houser, Relax buddy
