If they leave it like that there needs to be an exception for playoff seeding. Something along the lines of if the 2nd place team from either the North or South Division have more points than the 1st place Atlantic Division team, then that team slots into the top 3 playoff seeds. It's a little unbalance seeing as how the in the Atlantic all you have to do is finish above 2 other teams and you skate into the post season.
