I will contribute a few comments about the Cyclones skating at Fountain Square, although the topic might have already been discussed.
I took my ten-year-old niece to Fountain Square this past Saturday. About seven Cyclones autographed pucks and her jersey and took photos with her. She had a blast. I have lost track of how many autographs she has from her favorite player, Starling.
The whole experience was pretty positive. It is a great opportunity for those who like to skate, obtain autographs and hang out with the players. |

| Bummer-my son really enjoyed this in September-almost all the Cyclones were there. I didn't see anything on the Cyclones website or hear anything about it until your post. I wonder why there wasn't any promotion. |

| i wasn't able to make it down for either of them. working weekends sucks. but you're right, there was almost no promotion for the second appearance. i only heard about though listening to the game cast the night before. |

I discovered the date by accident. My ticket rep metioned it in passing. The Cyclones will be skating at Fountain Square in February...I don't know the specific date.
I assume the timeframe will be the same...roughly 1-5 pm on a Saturday. Two to three players show up per 1/2 hour or so. They help the kids skate, sign autographs, take photos, chat with fans, etc. The players were very friendly and more than happy to interact with the fans. |

In December almost all of them showed up; they were all there for several hours. Sam Ftorek brought his two-month old daughter. There were alot of people skating, but most people had no clue that the Cyclones were going to be there.
They really do need to advertise more. |
