Brooks Ostergard is signed to a SPC not an EBUG so he can play, he has played in two games this season one with South Carolina and one with Idaho. I dont know if Houser was called up for todays game only but if not then Osergard will have to play tomorrow night, and if Toledo/Dayton doesnt need Tony Tabiz he can be the EBUG, you live with what you have at this level.

Glad to hear it. Ostergard has been with Cinn, SC, Idaho, and back to Cinn this year already.Hope he has frequent flyer miles. Played one game at each of the other stops and gave up 4 goals and 5 goals with a mid .800s save percent. He wouldn't have been the answer.

Hauser is playing for SA tonight and gave up one goal on seven shots in the first period.

San Antonio traded Dov to Hartford which means we may not see Houser for a while.........a long while

Houser is likely done as a Cyclone with DGM getting traded. Even once Tim Thomas gets his walker fixed FLA/SA only has 4 goalies (Thomas, Markstrom, Clemmensen, Houser) so there's no odd man out. The scary part is, if Thomas' injury keeps him out for any length of time, odds are strong SA look to sign Madore to a PTO. Madore spent quite a bit of time in FLA training camp.

I haven't heard an update on Rinne, but last I heard they thinking 1st of the year. Darling (yeah, remember him...) will hopefully be back once Rinne returns to action.

The next few weeks could be interesting...

The Gromet-Morris trade doesn't make sense to me with Markstrom's recall. Why trade your second goalie when you kinda need a second.

The timing is odd but word from a guy that covers the Rampage is that DGM may have requested the trade. Horachek doesn't seem to have much confidence in Clemmensen and his guess is that when Thomas is healthy it will be Clemmensen getting sent down rather than Markstrom. The writing on the wall for Dov is, he either stays and backs up Clemmensen or requests a trade and perhaps gets a starting job elsewhere. Sometimes, you make the deal when it's available, not when the timing is best.

Also, keep in mind that Weber has a pretty good relationship with Dov and as Director of Hockey Ops possibly helped get the deal pushed through.
