The Cyclones have signed a second player out of Peoria. Forward Phil Bushbacher, he's 6'2" 209 |

Or you could not read it if it bothers you that much. |

That's right, Billy Mays. You must have killed an entire forest of digital cyber trees to create that second topic. The nerve! |

First I have Nick Brunker getting his panties all in a bunch last night on Twitter because I announced it to my 3 followers when nothing is official and now I have Randy all bent out of shape. All I do is hurt peoples feelings....sigh |

99.9% of the time signings and re-assignments can be found online via the AHL website, EliteProspects.com or AHL team bloggers 12 to 24 hours before Nick announces anything. Apparently the team can be fined if he releases any info before the League approves it. Trickle down means Nick will be the last to announce anything.
While I agree with Randy that just editing the previous thread keeps the message board a bit less cumbersome to sort through and post to, I'm not the message board fascist that Randy is so....thanks for the updates. I used to keep up on players in and out a lot more on my own but other things are taking my time up lately so I miss many of these A Level signings. Thanks again. |

anybody understand these moves? Seems we have been overloaded with players and now two from Peoria? Am I missing something? Usually the call ups have been offset by sending players down so not sure what the reason was behind these signings. |

Well we lost Combs yesterday & Miskovic today, so that's probably why |

I'm going to throw out a wild idea and maybe Elvis or Donny can answer. With the ECHL Cyclones signing these two Peoria players, can we ship them off to Peoria if our roster gets loaded down w/ AHL players again ? In other words, can we stash them w/ Peoria down the road if we run out of roster space, but still have them available if the roster becomes depleted ? |

Bags, traditionally there's no affiliation agreement between ECHL teams and A level leagues like the SPHL. I'm not sure how it works on Peoria's end as far as retaining the player's rights, but on the Cyclones side of things the player signs a Standard Player Contract (SPC) and then must be released and go through the normal waiver process. If no other team picks the player he could be re-signed by the Cyclones at a later date, but he could also be signed by any other ECHL team.

Under Skalde, the Cyclone had a regular relationship with Knoxville in the SPHL. Nothing formal, just a good working relationship. When the players got released here, they went through waivers and typically returned to Knoxville, who held their SPHL rights. But, as pointed out, if another ECHL team claims them, then that team owns their ECHL rights. |

This is when the board works right. Bring up a question and a straight answer is given. Thanks Elvis and Reggie D. |

You didn't get me bent out of shape, it is just simply basic internet message board etiquette. The biggest issues on section 60 is usually people not using correct topic titles and trolling which is explained below.
