Cyclones 14th in the league in attendance for the second year in a row. For the first time I can remember they actually had a decrease of about 200 fans per game. My guess is our wonderful winter weather this year had something to do with it. Trivia fact is the official attendance at both this years and last years final game was exactly the same.
They were lucky to only drop 200 fans per game. You're right - the winter certainly didn't help. They've been doing a great job of promoting awareness of the team, so that's why attendance dropped by 200 and not a lot more.
