Reading the article, I can take it two ways. On the positive,
a tryout is just that, the chance for someone to prove they deserve
a shot.If hockey rules are enforced, a female is in no greater
danger playing than a weaker man. If you look at the builds of some
women ( the Williams sisters in tennis example),I would rather have
them on my side in a street fight over some of the wimps we have
seen play.
If this though is just for newspaper space, this management has
stooped to new lows. This off season has been filled with so many
positives, I'm going with the first. Other than the locker room
situation,what do we lose with a tryout? |
