AUBIN REASSIGNED TO ECHL

HAMILTON, ON – The Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League announced today that the club has sent forward Mathieu Aubin back to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. Aubin will fly to Cincinnati tonight and join the Cyclones tomorrow morning.
Aubin, 20, has appeared in 17 games with the Bulldogs this season, collecting five points (2-3-5) and four penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 204-pound rookie centreman scored his first-career AHL goal on November 3rd, 2006, when Hamilton defeated the Syracuse Crunch 5-3.
In 25 games with Cincinnati in the ECHL this season, the native of Sorel, Quebec, has registered 29 points (8-21-29), a plus-4 rating and 24 penalty minutes. Aubin was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 5th round, 130th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
