Grumet-Morris Returns To AHL

Date: Saturday, March 17, 2007

CINCINNATI, California – The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, announced Saturday (March 17) that goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris has been signed by the Manitoba Moose (AHL). Grumet-Morris will be in uniform for the Moose tonight against at Grand Rapids.

haha Well the weather felt like California last Tuesday.

Backup ahead

The Moose airlift goalie Dov Grumet-Morris in from Cincinnati (ECHL) to back up for Drew MacIntyre. Manitoba's veteran goalie Wade Flaherty was hurt here Friday and went back to Winnipeg for medical attention.

Maybe the took him to a hospital and put on a device that shocks him if he move 5 feet from the goal while the clock is running, before taking him to Manatoba

Dov had a shut out last night against Peoria, 4-0. He was suppose to come back to town today, but Manitoba is keeping him for awhile.

BGWags-how do you know that Dov's not coming back? Just curious to know since I couldn't find anything on Manitoba's website.

Maybe Manitoba has a goalie coach that is helping Dov.If so,keep him
another few days so he will be ready for the stretch drive when he comes
back!

It looks like Manitoba called up a goalie from the ECHL and he played(and lost)
on Wednesday.I wonder if we are going to get Dov back for this weekend?Maybe his
shutout on Sunday will give him some confidence again.If not,get out the bungee
cords.
