| Your comment about the top 2 goalies reads as if you are stating that Cincy's 2 goalies were the top 2 goalies. Of which, Desjardins, as I stated above, is 3rd at best. Dov, I wouldn't even put in the top 20. |

| Cedrick 3rd? Nah...I give him a close second behind 5-hole. As for Dov...As much as I have hated him this year he did carry us for a lil while out in Cali and a few games after. He has his moments..good and bad. Maybe about 6th out of the regulars we have seen. I do not know much about the goalies we have not played this season. |

| Well then you should read the whole thread and understand better instead of picking out one statement that I made and trying to make me look ignorant. Its my opinion Desjardins is second best in the league, you say he's third, good for you. Based on gf and ga I'd take Berkhoel and Desjardins over any goalie in the league. This is my opinion and I'm sure a few other people would agree. |

Considering the fact that I did read , and do understand, every thread I respond to, I fail to see where you think I am trying to make you look ignorant.
As for any ranking of Desjardins, check his stats for the season against the other goalies, in the league. Mckenna and Gustafson rank higher in both save percentage and goals against average. Hence the 3rd at best comment, which means I would put him 4th. But, seeing him play in person, and seeing how good a job he does do, I give him 3rd. Now if you had stated "2 best goalies in the division, or conference", then yeah, I would agree completely.
Rookie of the Year is exactly what it states. Cedrick was the best rookie of the season. I wouldn't give him a 2nd best goalie on just that merit. Don't get me wrong, the kid is kick ass in the pipes, and has earned his keep. But, take a look at the end of year stats for the other goalies I mentioned. You'll see where I'm coming from then. |

| Well then you would've understood that the dude picked Trenton and Toledo thus picking against Ceddy and Berkhoel, thus being where my comment "picking against the 2 best goalies came from". Again, you have your opinion , I have mine, neither will change. You look at gaa and save %, I look at gf and ga by team. Alaska scored way more goals than Cincinnati did and LV scored almost 30 more, therefore McKenna and Gustafson didnt have to do as much work as Berkhoel and Desjardins. When your team scores 4 goals a game its a bit easier to be a goalie, plus Cedrick faced a lot more shots. Not to mention both goalies are from the north division which by most accounts is arguably the roughest and toughest division in the league. |
