Toledo, as glad as I am that the Cyclones won, as sad as I am at your teams hiatus. I saw several Toledo fans at the game tonite, and wanted to express my sympathies. I hope you will come back in all your glory and look forward to the renewal of our rivalry.

except for the fact that is was the Cincinnati fans who came up and heckled the CRYING Storm fans.
Then one of your ******* fans shoved two 3-5 year old children down the stairs because he wanted to hit someone. |

| The behavior by a few unnamed cyclones fans was utterly EMBARRASSING!!! I was humiliated by the way they acted! It's funny how some people can talk about bad fans in other buildings then act the same way toward visitors to our building! Thank you to all the Storm fans that came down to support HOCKEY! I hope you feel welcome here at ANYTIME :-) |

Agreed~I consoled a few Storm fans because we went through the same crap 3 years ago watching the clones walk out the door for the last time...I also pointed out that kentucky is right next door so we dont pretend to claim every "cyclones" fan in attendance
Theres heckling, and theres being asshats...there were quite a few asshats last night that i dont want to see back @ US Bank arena |

I agree with Jes that most of the Cyclones fans in attendance rooted for the clones in a classy manner. It's a shame if a few fans gave the Toledo fans the impression that we are all jerks. I talked to several Storm fans in Toledo and they were just good hockey fans, plain and simple. I talked to a few Storm fans last night and again had no problem with them and we talked about their new arena. I have noticed that when the opposing fans show up in number, that our fans are louder and cheer more to drown their cheers out. It makes for a much better atmosphere! I too welcome the Toledo fans back anytime. By the way, Kymerik, I'm from Kentucky!  |

| On another note, does anyone know why Matt Zultek and Brett Angel were not dressed last night? I can only assume that Angel was suspended for his 'attempt to injure' match penalty from Saturday's game, but I am curious about Zultek. He was definitely one of their better players. He's a brute in front of the net. |

according to an article in the cincinnati enquirer, zultec was out with the flu. it did not mention angel at all. |

Angel was definitely suspended because of the attempt to injured. Not complaining about losing Zultek for a game though. =) |
