Despite our loss, wasn't that one great game tonight? Aside from the 2 bizarre 1st period goals, I thought there were some beautiful offensive plays by both teams.
What a good series so far! |

| this just means we well win in 5. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

You can't expect a team to go undefeated. I am almost glad to get the loss on the books just to break the pressure. Now they can relax and start another win streak. |

What was the deal with the 2 odd goals at the start? I was working and the wife watched on B2.
Cincy goal... She told me Berkhoel had the puck, no stoppage of play was called, he gets run into by someone and drops the puck, then someone scores a goal.
Dayton goal... All she told me about this one is that the net was off it's pegs and then someone scored a goal.
Could someone let me know if this is how they went? If so, man that ref sucked ass. |

On the first Cyclones goal- we were sitting on the penalty box side right on the goal line so we had a perfect view.Berkhoel made the stop and the puck fell down right to his side about 3" in front of the goal line and 3" from his butt,so there was no way he could see where it was.By a miracle, the ref was on our side and DIDN'T blow the whistle(which he shouldn't)and our guy came in from the opposite side and reached over Berkhoel to poke it in.Berkhoel was complaining I bett that the play should have been stopped, but the puck was clearly in view after his stop. What a great game(except we lost) of hockey by both sides. http://echl.leaguestat.com/stats/text-game-report.php?game_id=1880 |

Was indeed a great game last night! Showed how well these teams are matched up. Dayton did, however dominate the third period a bit more than the first two periods. As seen by their stripping the Cyclones of the puck nearly every time and the amount of time played in the Cyclones end. Cyclones played more re-active than pro-active. I expect to see even more great play tonight!!!

| As bags said thank God the ref was on the side of the net that the puck was on for the first Cyclones goal. Later in the period he was on the opposite side of the net and he thought Berkhoel covered the puck when the puck was sitting in the crease in clear view and he blew it dead, so I guess it evened out. I have no idea what happened on Daytons first goal. I was sitting on Daytons end so didnt see it very well, but it looked like the puck went up in the air and over Ceddys head and then rolled into the net. Ceddy didnt see it at all and there were a couple Cyclones trying to push the net off to blow the play dead, but the puck had already rolled in. I thought the third period was horrible for the Cyclones. You could just feel a Dayton goal coming the whole period. For whatever reason the Cyclones played scared. They were trying to keep Dayton from scoring a 4th goal instead of trying to score a 4th goal themselves and it ended up hurting them. |
