| Anybody else tired of seeing Bonneau being an idiot on the ice? He does nothing but get on the ice and take dumb penalties. Tonight he slashes a guy right in front of the ref and then 5 seconds after Dayton made it 3-2 he comes out on the ice and takes an interference penalty. How can you be that dumb to give Dayton a PP after they have all the momentum from making it 3-2? I guess nobody really cares since we are winning games, but its gonna cost us at some point. Luckily tonight it didnt thanks to Dayton's inept PP. I'd like to see Rogers in the lineup or what about Wilson? Either of them would be better than Bonneau. |

| if we're talking about stupid penalties, how about mcdonald blatantly grabing the back of some guys jersey right in front of the ref. jimmy's first penalty (the slash) was stupid, but when you watch games you see that kind of stuff happen all the time and 99 out of a 100 times it doesn't get called. |

| Everybody takes a dumb penalty sometimes, but at least they bring something else to the ice. What does Jimmy bring? Isnt he supposed to bring energy? hit people? clear space for other guys? He only gets a few shifts per game and it seems like when he does get a shift he just gets out there and skates around. Maybe its just me, I dont know. |

| Well since he's a MTL guy he's gonna get paid whether he plays or not so that could be playing some role in chuck's decision (in who dresses and who sits). And while we're benching people send Travis too. He doesnt seem to want to play the physical game that this series has become and seems to be a step behind everyone else. so maybe it is time to give avery and perhaps rogers a chance... |

the problem with benching travis is that you lose the potential. the guy put up great numbers in the regular season and he had great chemistry with wirll. the playoffs are no time to for the "what have you done for me lately" strategy and benching a guy to see if it motivates him. you want the best line up dressed to play each night and sometimes that means keeping a guy in the line up even if he has been less than spectacular because of the potential upsides. i think jimmy definitely has more upside than avery as well, but i'd have to agree that jimmy only gets the nod over rogers because he's a montreal guy.

key word here:HAD. and i wouldn't say that he should be benched as a way of motivating him (it's the playoffs. if you're not motivated now what's it gonna take?!). moreso cause i don't really see the effort. at least with avery you know you're gonna get 100% from him. and it's not like travis is puttin up points so you lose nothing in that aspect by dressing avery and you gain his toughness-toughness i'd argue that travis lacks.

| i'm not going to argue that avery wouldn't give 100% and play physical but his 100% is equal to a subpar performance from travis. it is not travis' role to play physical. his job is to play the puck and and feed barret and mike. a lot of times it looks like travis is holding back and not finishing his checks when really he is reacting to the puck. ofter times while forechecking the best play is to NOT finish the check. on the other hand all avery looks to do is hit people so there is no way i'd want to swap avery for travis, avery for jimmy, yes, but not the former. the biggest problem that i have seen with travis is that he is in active in the nuetral zone. he do es a great job in either end, but he's crap in the nuetral zone and i'd rather have that a guy that tries as hard as he can to be average, regardless of where he's at on the ice, and still gets beat. |

Lisabeth never has been a physical player. But like said before, he does have that chemistry with Wirll. I too am ready to see him step up and start scoring this series. I have to agree that sometimes he does look lazy and appear not to be in the game. I don't think benching him at this point would be a good idea.

in travis' defense apparently this "musician" had issues with more than one bar patron on more than one occasion. not that it gives him the right to assault the guy (or whatever the charge was) but the other guy involved wasn't completely innocent. (imagine the media failing to portray an event accurately!) all that aside at this point any off ice issues travis may have in florida are just that-the past. and i am not saying the chemistry he and mike had during the regular season isn't important. it's just too bad it hasn't seemed to carry over to the playoffs |

Definately there was more there than any of us will know. I just hope that yall have to play Texas instead of Florida. Just think of all the signs there will be if you do have to go south.

Why would you think that??? That's not what I said. No, I don't. I said that I hoped yall meaning Cincy have to play Texas instead of Florida because if Lisabeth has to go back to Florida he will catch hell from the fans. |

| Matt Rogers was told this morning to plan on having ice time on Wednesday. I guess coach didn't want to change the line-up while it seemed to be working but after last night that isn't the case anymore. |
