It was announced in the Enquirer today that Dennis is in the hospital in Saginaw, MI due to a brain aneurysm. He was the coach from 1990-94. If any one remembers him & would like to send a card, please e-mail me off site. I will send it to you at that time.

If their is a next jersey retired, it should be for Dennis D. The worst move
Florida ever made was making us replace him.One thing you could count on with
one of his teams,if a player was on the ice he was giving 100%. With almost no
talent other than Paul Lawless, he almost got us in the playoffs that first IHL
season. I dare anyone to tell me we have had a better coach at getting everything
from the talent he had to work with.

According to the hospital's web site, he has a Care Page that was updated the end of May. It said he had another surgery & that he was doing as well as could be expected. He's being kept sedated & when the doctors bring him out, so to speak, he responds to what's asked of him. It's going to be a LONG haul.
