If that's good enough for you every season then way to have low expectations. You forgot #6, getting trounced in the Finals. But if being the Buffalo Bills of the ECHL is your style, more power to you, we still aspire for championships around these parts and aren't happy with anything less.
Well, to get that chamionship, you oh so aspire for, you have to get to the championship first. When were the Cyclones there last? The Bombers have been there twice, losing each time. I'd rather get there than blow a 3-1 lead and not even come close. |

| Happy for you, you would rather get to the finals and lose, then to blow a 3 games to 1 lead and not come close to the finals like we did. You did that,you reached your lofty goals of winning then losing in the most inportant series, the championship series, you should be just tickled with your season, I'm not happy with "accomplishments" like that. i'm dreadfully disappointed with the Clones season this past year. Yea I know alot of so called "experts" thought we might finish dead last and to have gone as far as we did might make a few people happy, but not me. You got trounced in the finals and that you shouldn't be all that happy with, so leave all that "we had a good season stuff" and "winning isn't everything speech" to the little leaguers |

| One last thing, and maybe I can stick a fork in this whole thread. We didn't win the Kelly cup and nor did you. If you can somehow find solace in the fact that you went further then we did in the playof then great, sleep easier at night, but after we all wake up in the morning neither the Bombers or the Clones are Kelly cup Champs. |

I wouldn't be happy with your Cincinnati team either.
- Lost the Northern Conference lead with a week to go in the season
- Lost second place in the Northern converence within the last week
- Caused shame in the hockey world when taunting Storm fans after the playoff series
- Losing the Northern Conference series championship after taking a 3-1 lead and then losing (badly) 3 straight games to the Bombers
- Losing 2 of your top players in the past week to other teams. Wirll and Deitsch
But hey, at least you have the Cricket Cup!

I for one am very happy with the Cyclones team
1. The Cyclones were predicted to finish 25 out of 26 teams
2. Was in first place for over 90 some days.
3. Made the playoffs in our first season back.
4 Beat the #2 seeded Toledo in the playoffs
5 Beat Dayton in the regular season
6 Lost the series to a great Dayton team who didnt give up in the playoffs.
7. WE HAVE HOCKEY BACK IN CINCINATI.

| I guess I can't put a fork in it, Look SS did I have a good time this year, absoulutly, every single game I went to I had a great time, soooo in that respect the glass is more than half full. Did we have a succesful season...well, I suppose so, Am I happy, despite working too much and not getting paid enough, I would suppose i'm happy, But for you to be happy the Bombers went to the Finals only to be....well embarassed, If your happy with those results then so am I. Your team stormed through the playoffs only to well.... lay a great big goose egg. Kinda like the fashion we blew a 3 games to 1 lead. I guess that momentum thing means nothing to the Bombers. This thread has the makings to go on and on and I suppose i'm up for it however, were not champs and "NO CUP FOR YOU!" |

People like you really amaze me. It's a f'ing joke that you think that a season is a failure unless you win the cup. So you are basically saying that every single team except the Steelheads were a failure this year? LOL!
Do you yell at your kids when they bring home a 'B' on their report card? After all, it's not an 'A' and according to your logic, they are a failure.
It's no wonder that the clones can't get more than 500 people in US Bank Arena with "fans" like you. I'm starting to see what Citizen Dick has been saying for the past year now. |

3) Collage sports
4) High School sports
5) Elementry School sports

I dont think the Cyclones season was a failure? Yeah we lost to a better team in the playoffs I admit that. BTW each team loses good players each year in minor league hockey, I doubt Dayton will keep 5-hoel for next season.
Also people like you amaze me, a Dayton fan coming to a Cyclones board all the time to have some whine with his cheese even during the off-season. Hope you have a great summer SS :) |

| Silver, what will it be you and I fighting it out until October? Thankfully we are not talking about my daughter making A's or B's, if she did the best she could and a "B" was what she walked away with then great I'm happy, But we are takling about lower level professional hockey aren't we? and with all things considered evey team starts out with the goal of winning the Cup right? apparently the Bombers contingent are simply happy with beating the Clones and making their way to the finals only to be beaten up again, so with that said, can a team be successful and still not win the cup....sure, however using that model, I suppose that yes, every team but the Steelheads are faiulures this season, in my convoluted eyes. As for the low attendance that so many Bomber fans seem so obsessed with on this board and others, I really could care less if 5000 show up or my Wife, daughter, and I are there. Look this whole thread started by a Clone fan on our own site simply being happy for you "unfortunate" loss in the finals, Look alot of us are not really that upset that you rolled over and lost after making such an amazing run through the playoffs. I think that Puckhead60 originally posted the thread and to me appeared also not that upset that you lost, "on our site"....then Bomber fans came on "our site" and started beating their collective "Bomber Chests" for what? I ask you? to throw in our faces that you beat us, then, well......quite simply roll over and play dead in the Finals. and at the End, the final end, we are not that different from one another. The Clones are without the Cup in 2006-2007 and so is.....oh, don't look! The Bombers |

We have 2, maybe soon to be 3 wars being fought. Many of us, like myself, know someone fighting for us. We have going on right now in our country: an economic crisis, an oil crisis, terrorists poisoning our toothpaste, dog food, and food supply, and soon we're gonna be making a choice as to who's gonna lead our country next and all you people wanna do is argue about lower level minor league hockey. Its just a game, both teams' seasons are over, grow up and move on. Theres far more important things to be concerned with other than how many banners someone will hang and who has a cricket cup and blah blah blah. |
