the wirll move didn't surprise me. ut had been rumored that he was not going to be around for another season as early as the last coach's show. to be honest i'm not going to miss him. in my opinion he never panned out to be the "game breaking" player that he was billed to be when we got him from p-cola.
the deitsch move did surprise me. being one of the guys that got a call up, i was surprised he didn't choose to stick around and see if he could make one of those call ups stick a little longer next season.

the money they will be paid is tax free so they could end up making some rather nice $$$$$.
germany starts in august and they may not like it over there, sytle of play, the culture, etc. if they were to come back the clones still have the echl rights to them. rory was a player that last year started in england and came back to the states and coach signed him to the echl contract. this could happen to either of them as well. you never know.
