Good game tonight. Pretty much went down to the wire.
I caught up with Hakee on the concourse and was glad to chat for a bit. Good seeing you again dude. I'll try to get down to Cincy this season. |

It was a good game indeed. We played a lot better than I had expected, our guys had to be tired as hell coming off of that road trip to play today's game without much rest.
Only rightful that these two teams start the season with each getting a win over each other with scores like 5-4 and 3-2. |

Good to see you too, RL. It was a very good game, except for the outcome. You could see the momentum start to shift in the 2nd period. Third period-power play and penalty kill went to hell--4 games in 5 nights plus a long overnight busride will do that to you. Not to mention some strangely uneven referreeing (for both sides). |

Yes, the ref was quite questionable throughout the game last night. |

Tifu did some "hard work" during the second intermission. Calls against us in the third were pretty ****ty. |

| Just for the record, are you guys blaming the loss to the ref again? |

| I didn't see Starling's penalty Sunday, but I wouldn't doubt if it was the right call. He has been playing like that, stupid penalties, inept, all season. |

I think the offense's ability to only score 2 goals is a good point of blame. That and your goalie... I forgot his name... making some crazy saves. |

Starlings late game penalty could have gone either way. I personally considered it questionable. He had already fallen to the ice and a Bummer more or less took advantage of that fall, and skated over him. However, the 3 previous hooking penalties were fair calls, and obvious. |
