Well, Game 3 tonight. Let's see if the back and forth wins continue, or if one of our teams will go up a game. Either way, I'm looking forward to a good game. This rivalry is probably one of the best in the league. See you there and have a safe trip. |

| way to go.... lets get first place tomorrow night. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

| Three players with a goal and an assist tonight. Also might be a good idea to start playing Morris every time we play Dayton. |

| HELL YES! Glad they got the feed to work even with B2 being screwed up! Was listening to the Dayton feed for a little bit. Why did their guy think our FIRST THREE goals were "QUESTIONABLE"? I wasn't there but everyone that I told about his comment thought it was pretty crazy... |

Oh it was horrible! Cincy showed up but the JV Wright State team decided to play tonight instead of Dayton.
Oh, those QUESTIONABLE goals were questionable because Beauchamin couldn't block a damn beach ball tonight.
And the shattered glass tonight, was a first for me. Just glad to see Campaner was unhurt.
Cincy played a good game and earned the win. Congrats. |

| Thanks for the kind words R L ... wish I could see a video of the glass breaking. Kind of surprised that Aubin would be the one laying the check. |

The cool thing is I don't think that we even played that well. Not bad, but certainly not up to our capabilities. As R.L. pointed out, their goalie was not so good. Still, this offense has a few kinks to work out. Howells on the point of the power play is not a pleasant experience. He's a rookie, and has some skill, but he really needs to get the puck moving more quickly. He's not at Michigan State anymore. Beauregard and Desharnais are going to be awesome. Not like they're chopped liver right now or anything, but I think their decision making will improve as the season progresses.
GMorris had a very sound night in the net. The goal he allowed was relatively soft, but he made several big saves and didn't give up rebounds on them. Could have had the SO, but his GAA is now 2.01.
Dayton's attendance juice continues. My estimate for tonight was 800. They announced 2000. So, in the 4 games I've seen up there, they have announced a total of 15,500 and I've estimated a grand total of 7,800. This amounts to a 99% (double) lie. By contrast I have the clones juicing by 14% AND I only estimated 6000 the other night (I'm sure their figure wasn't juiced-why would they?), so my "juice " figures on the Cyclones are probably too high.
Dayton fans insist that all their "no shows" are season ticket holders/corporate sponsors, etc. They probably believe in the tooth fairy and easter bunny as well if they believe the bummers published figures.
It's gonna be an AWESOME season. I'm psyched.
P>S> Thanks to Elvis 77's insight on Schmidt's skating. He's not a bad skater by any means, but not nearly as good as I thought. |

the glass shattering was pretty cool and glad to hear Campaner was not hurt. (anyone know if he returned btw?) as far as the check though it was his body angle more than anything. how exactly his leg ended up in the air i dont know, but it was more that than the strength of the check.
great game tonight though. nice to get an early jump and dov didnt really have to work too hard. lookin' forward to another W tomorrow night! |

| Campaner came back to the bench about 8 minutes after play resumed. My guess is he had to undress to get all the glass out of his equipment. He was out there in the 2nd for a couple of shifts I believe. It looked to me that he had leaned forward and his leg came up with his skate hitting the glass first and but hell who knows, I was worried more for him than watching the replay. Good clean hit though. The odd thing is it didn't appear to be a massive hit. I think they hit the glass in just the right spot. Because there wasn't much of a follow through from Aubin. But again, I didn't see the replay. |
