First off to the Dayton fans-you deserved that win based on your players outskating us and playing to our weakness of the night- DUMB PENALTIES AND LOUSY PENALTY-KILL.What we did wrong first was Dov had one of his worst nights and probably should have been pulled earlier.Second on the penalty kill,we had too many people standing in front of the goalie and blocking the sight line. The 2nd last goal for Dayton was right past Conrad Martin's shoulder as he stood directly in front of Cedrick and there was no way he saw it.Once in the second we had 3 SKATERS in the crease in front of Dov on the penalty kill. The final straw was the non calls on Dayton that kept us from a chance to tie it up.Once their skater pulled their net off in the 2nd and no call and with 2:45 left, their goalie yanked it off with no call.Like I said, I will give Dayton credit for out skating us tonight. |

| i agree with you bags....too many defenders just standing around. their first goal was, it appeared to me, a dump in by labenski that hit someone in front. also the referees inability to call(obvious) penalties right in front of him. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'll agree with you 100% on the ref tonight. He was horrible. That was the 4th game in a row that we had him.
But what about the clock not starting at 6:18 of the 3rd for about 45 seconds? Why didn't she notify the ref as soon as play stopped? She ran 2 seconds off after play stopped and then started it late again when play resumed. It was only a 1 goal game at that point so I really believe it was unintentional. But I question why the referee was never notified. |

Yeah and the worst part after all that is cedrick gets nailed with the loss rather than dov.
and this is a concern i have with the double affiliate. the team was playing well without the ahl guys and now they are here and completely change the dynamic of the team. i understand chuck doesnt have a choice not to play those guys but i still dont like it.
hopefully tomorrow will be better and the guys will get back to playing their style of hockey. |

Dayton played a great game and stayed in it to the end. Congrats on the win.
Bottomline, Grumet-Morris SUCKED tonight. 10 shots and he lets 5 of them in. Damnit! I wish Weber had watched NHL highlights from last night where Pittsburgh pulled Marc-Andre Fleury even earlier. Dejardins came in and played great and the goal he came in was just a great set-up and shot by the Bummer. He had been doing well killing the penalty but that was a perfectly played shot out of nowhere.
Also I want to give it up to good ole Bonneau tonight in his return game. He had a hell of a fight, I'll give him that, but once again does nothing but takes stupid penalties during his little ice time. Especially after we have struggled on the penalty kill already. Sure reminds me of ... well ... about every game he played in for us last season.
Rough loss but hopefully the guys realize that they blew the game tonight and come out ready tomorrow, with Cedrick backing them.

One odd hockey game. We looked like an AHL team in the first period and made Dayton look like a Cincinnati High School team. This team has done this many times to various opponents this year. Then Dov throws the biggest stinker he's probably ever had. It happens.
We seemed out of sync in the 3rd period.
Gosh, shucks. We've only won 10 of our first 15. Probably should be 12 or 13, (including tonight, obviously), but these guys are damn good. And when they play like they did in the 1st period they are awesome to watch. And probably unbeatable at this level. When this new, improved lineup (except for one of the new/old guys-one guess) gells, they could be a special team.
It's gonna be a great season. |

| It was Black Friday and the play made it look black to every Cyclones fan. I was ticked tonight but you can't win them all. Lets get them back on Saturday. |
Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

-One thing I think we can all agree on is the refs can't call **** for EITHER teams. I also love it when they call a penalities for EITHER teams that are bogus. Sometimes it looks like they are making up the ****.
-Credit for the Cyclones on the power plays, jesus if our guys could kill penalities we would be better. One thing I hate is giving you guys power plays. Cyclones take shots, Bummers pass it around.
-Dougherty fight, I say rematch, more punches landed by Dougherty by still a stalemate.
-Tifu Sixsmith...looked like 2 fish out of water. What casued the game misconduct?
-If Beauchemin is in goal for us tonight were screwed. |

| We shoot? Hell, I was screaming all night long for them to shoot the puck. You all didn't have to shoot at the rate you were successful. I call Boner's fight a draw. Lots of misses by both. As for Bubba's...yeah it was comical. Bubba tried but only landed one. Tifu just threw him down. The game misconduct is for fighting after the whistle on a penalty call, not involving either of them. I cannot make it tonight, so be loud for me. I will listen to as much as possible. |

How many times last night did we skate from centerline to BEHIND THE NET without getting a shot off. Hey guys, how about pulling up halfway to the net and taking a shot. One big gripe with the refs (among so many), how about a call when the Dayton player coming off is still 20 feet away from the bench and his replacement is 20 feet away in the opposite direction. Did you forget about too many men on the ice calls because at least four times it could have been called. That and delay of the game for pulling the net off would have given us at least 6 more power plays! Still you guys won round one.On to round TWO. |

I think Dayton gets the credit for that. We ruled the 1st half of the game, then Dayton just wrapped themselves around our players. They kept us from getting anything off, hence skating behind the net and having to look for someone open.
Hope the intensity tonight matches last night's game. Hakeedude |
