Nothing like playing the whole game 3-MEN -DOWN because the refs should
have been wearing Elmira jerseys. How about a "ticky" tripping call
in overtime when all it was is a clean hit along the boards and the
Elmira player fell more from fatigue than anything else. I have one
complaint with the Star of the game-could it be anyone but Dov. |

Had to watch the game at home as I couldn't make it. Seemed like we started out hot and got dominated from then on, survived until the shoot-out where our guys came through. Big kudos to Dov in th shoot out and I was glad the last two Elmira shooters missed the net.
Also have to give it up for a good crowd during Redsfest, last year it killed us. |

| Renny acted like he wasn't pleased with the Clones performance tonight. He said they will be much better tomorrow! I thought they looked pretty good, but I can live with better :) It would've made a huge difference if the refs would've been wearing their spectacles. |

We stole two points. First time this year that I've seen where we were seriously outplayed. Out hit and outhustled, too. It's neat to steal one, though. Makes up for the Trenton loss and Dov disaster against Dayton - 2 games we shudda won.
I'm guessing Renny is Reynolds. I can imagine that Weber let them know that they were plain lucky to win. We really didn't deserve 1 point let alone 2.
Hope the real Cyclones show up tonight. |

I agree the Clones were outplayed most of the game, but I don't think it was from lack of effort---Elmira just played one hell of a better game.
Fortunately, so did Dov.
He should have been star of the game- no doubt.

the guys did get outplayed and we did steal 2 points. i can't remember the last time these guys got out shot like they did. i like scotty's comment though; it shows what time of team and players we have....they end up with 2 pts but are not happy unless the play up to their potential and dominate the opposition. |

| I think that was the best Elmira has, and we whithered thru it. We were outplayed. Tonight WILL be different. I think we will have all the energy tonight. They put all their marbles into one jar and it broke. Wasn't a very exciting game for me either. I was uncharacteristically(sp) quiet. One more thing...Nuts and bolts, nuts and bolts...DOV GOT SCREWED!!! |
