| Did anyone stay around for the pink jersey auction after the game? the bidding was crazy on the jerserys. me and my brother left after ONE GUY bid $575 for daoust jersey and $625 for desjardins jersey. was anyone else there? if so did anyone get higher than these two amounts? these jerseys will make more than the $5500 the stingers jersey auction made. |

I stayed for the entire auction hoping to bid on something. After watching the predator auction with most jerseys going for between $150-$175, I was hoping to pick on up at a decent price. I was wrong, unlike all other auctions with started bidding at 125, they started all at $200 or above which shocked me from the beginning. But those were the two highest bids which were won by the same guy sitting behind me (I hope is credit card didn't bounce). They did have a pink goalie stick signed by the team which went for around$300. I could not believe that. At least the money raised went to a good cause, but I wish I could of made at least one bid in my price range. |

| I WAS ALITTLE SUPRISED AT HOW MUCH THEY WENT FOR. I PICKED UP THE #24 JIMMY BONNEAU JERSEY FOR 375.00.....I WAS REALLY SHOCKED FOR HOW MUCH THE JERSEYS OF JM AND CEDRIC WENT FOR....BUT ITS ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE |

It's surprising that the pink ones would go higher than the rest, but that's just my opinion.
The only jersey auction I went to this year was the Stingers. I can imagine the Predators went low, because, well, there was nothing to those jerseys. I sure wouldn't have payed for one.
I think we can all agree that having the live auction is a lot better than the silent auctions where you had to maneuver through a wall of people and get around people standing around guarding the player they wanted to win. |

| We bought the Max number #1 goalie Jersey, went to a great cause, he was the winning goaltender, has good AHL numbers and we believe that the bigger the hockey jersey is the better, we knew that the goalie jerseys were 58 goalie cut, one diappointing factor however, his sig was just short of my 2 year old's scribbles on her coloring books, would have felt that after spending that kinda money that all of the players would have really concentrated on their cursive. Lastly the popular jersey auctions this year really seem to point out to me that we are just begging for increased merchindise items. I won't expect to see many men wearing the pink jersys however recently jersey makers have went to a female cut jersey, the NFL, Major League steroid....errr Major League Baseball and the NHL all have gone to a female cut pink jersey aimed at females, my wifes first inpression walking into the door is man I have to have one of those to match my pink bengals jersey.....soooooooooo |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah- I really wanted a jersey but since I'm still in school, I couldn't afford one. I wanted one because my mom had died of cancer and I would wear one of those to every home game the rest of the year! I couldn't afford the them once they went above 150 - and to be honest, not many of them would fit my fat butt;)
See you all at the game tonight SECTION 101 rocks:-D That's where I will be

I hope he slows down a bit or he's going to get called up...I'm being selfish for the first time.(as far as hockey is concerned) I'd like him to stay around.
Is he under contract with the Bulldogs/Canadians or Admirals/Preds?
That makes a bit of a difference on the call up. |

I don't know if you get many players to sign stuff for you,but most players sigs are sloppy and unreadable. They are few that sign real nice and net but most you can not make out. thats why most of them put their number with their sig. |

Although I am sure they are paying attention to him and his performance on the ice lately. |

| I was talking to Weber and he said he'd actually like to see JM called up just because he deserves it. He also said JM is under his contract so I dont know if that affects anything. I hope he stays here tho |

i think what chuck was saying is that the cyclones own the echl rights to JM. JM can get called up to any team, but if that team sends him back to the echl he would come back to us and not the echl affiliate of the team that called him up.
with as poorly as as both hamilton and milwaulkee have been playing this year, i'd be really surprised if one of these teams didn't give him a look. |
