| Holy Cow. I bet the team & fans were surprised! Then again, who knows? I hope that KP & Ray get Chuck & Dean locked in for a while! If not, & if they leave, we could be screwed! |

it won't be officially announced until their press conference tomorrow. on intotheboards a couple of different names have been thrown around (including nick vitucci), but nobody "in the know" has come forward....
hopefully for them this turns their season around. it's gotta be tough not only on the players being in that type of (losing) environment but i know that most of the fans are pretty discouraged as well. |

| I doubt you'll see Vitucci in Wheeling. From what I understand, and correct me if I am wrong but, I believe Nick Vitucci is already in a contract in Toledo, with The Mud Hens organization. They are the current owners of the Toledo franchise now. Again, let me know of I am wrong. |

btw - I was at the game on Monday, there were about 5 fans I counted with bags on their heads and about 100 "Patrick Pink Slips" (one of which I snagged from a buddy up there)
