That's the same arguement that I have fought for Jason and Bubba being back during our D-shortage. We aren't going to turn away great talent because they aren't the position we need right now. With the way people are being called up, we might need them soon more than we think. IMO, both of those boys are making their difference on this team, even if what we really need is D.
As for Bubba, Chuck can't control who gets called up and who gets sent back down. We all have to remember that he is the one in close contact with the AHL and knows better than we do when we are going to get some of those D boys back. If he felt that we were going to be short for a good term, he would be calling in reinforcements to help us out.
It's that time of year, where our guys are going to be flying back and forth through the leagues. Just something that we have to get used to I guess. Our team's chemistry is pretty good... this is when it's really being tested. Our boys have to be able to mend well during shortages, and accept line changes frequently. I think the work that Chuck did with them back in October with changing their lines litterally every day is really going to help out in times like these.
The man knows what he's doing, and if he doesn't he'll figure it out.
