Actually there were 3 new guys on defense. Bozoian, Wood, and Wolfe.

It was a great game and good crowd. Both goaltenders kept their teams in it.

Futers, Wood, Bozoian and Wolfe have got to be just bodies to fill the roster until we get some of the others back. Don't they?

I never thought that I'd say that I'd be thrilled to have Conrad M lining up on the D. Or Sean Perkins for that matter. Thank the scheduling gods. We only have 2 games in the next 13 days.

wood and wolfe were picked up from reading...one from waivers and the other in a trade (what we gave up has yet to be determined). futers has been around since the weekend. bozoian, i have know idea where he cam from. personally after seeing conrad play last weekend in cleveland, i don't think he'll be back anytime soon...he was getting a regular shift and playing quite well in the AHL (good for him, not so good for us). hopefully we can get matt macdonald back after the all-star break. he's been a healthy scratch the last few games. bottom line is the FNG's will be here for a while. with the loss of tyler howells (sorry ass piece of ****),gerard miller and sean perkins (both to the IR), even if we get macdonald and conrad martin back we are still short on the blue line. i thought the FNG's played quite well given their short time with the team.

Bozoian was on Corpus Christi in the CHL for 22 games, so at least he has a decent amount of GP for the year. Spent some time in the UHL and played with Ehgo for a year @ Niagara. His brother played here for a few games in 03-04 I think. I was impressed with his physical play tonight. Only one of the FNGs that managed to do anything to get my attention above and beyond the game play.

I would probably look to get a D man from Hamilton soon after the break... Gleeder came back from his injury for a game up there, but missed the next one... not really sure what his status is... but they have 7 dmen, not including one who hasn't played in 2+ weeks, I'm imagining that's an injury.

You know it's rare lately when I have something good to say about Starlings, but my
hats off to him for last night. Multiple times he went flat on the ice and at 6'6"
the blockage at the bottom was great. Maybe he was just falling and got lucky but
Cedrick should buy him a round for the number of shots he blocked. The more I see
him play defense, the more I want to see Irish-Baker staying on defense.First
period was rough last night and I'm glad Dayton didn't go with the extra attacker
earlier, but a win is a win. Eight days to relearn some lines should help for next
Friday.

Bozo played part of two seasons in the Fort. Nothing too spectacular but he doesn't suck. From what I remember he stands up for his teammates but isn't really a fighter.
