South Carolina vs Allen ... ECHL vs CHL The way South Carolina came on the second half of the season should make them the favorite. Fact that Allen has the mission to prove the CHL teams were legit gives them plenty of will. This could be a great series. By the way-our starting opening night goalie is now in the NHL finals ! Good luck Scott Darling even if it's from the bench. You earned the #2 position.
Greger Hanson scored 5:25 into overtime to give the Allen Americans a 3-2 win over the South Carolina Stingrays in Game 5 of the Kelly Cup Finals on Tuesday at the North Charleston Coliseum. The win gives Allen a 3 games to 2 lead in the series and the Americans will look to claim the Kelly Cup title in Game 6 on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. ET at South Carolina. I'll be surprised if South Carolina doesn't win tonight and Game 7 is needed.
