I'm not sure if it's a full time thing but Nick was indeed the PA announcer last night. Personally, I thought it was a lot better than JD from 96 Rock. Nick announced goals and penalties in a timely fashion which is needed in hockey. It was tedious waiting for JD to announce opposing team penalties, sometimes it would take him a full minute to get to it.
I for one hope Nick starts doing it full time.
Side Note: I've listened to every road game so far and I've got to say I really like the new radio guy, Everett Fitzhugh. He's not afraid to call things like they are; when the 'Clones are playing up to snuff he's on it, but when they aren't he's willing to call them on it. |
