In case you missed it -- and judging by the lack of activity on this site you have -- former Cyclones center David Desharnais was traded by the Montreal Canadiens to the Edmonton Oilers at the NHL trade deadline.
Desharnais had fallen out of favor in Montreal and been a healthy scratch for the most part since Claude Julien took over as head coach last month.
