Then once again you're wrong.

Lastly, I've told you this at least three different occassions, I would appreciate that you STOP sending me personal e-mails and I delete them everytime you send me one. There ISN'T anything you can say there that cannot be said here in a public forum regarding the Cincinnati Cyclones, Thank you and good day, sir

Scuba, because of my association with the Ducks and Gardens ownership, my comments will get taken the wrong way by Cyclones fans -- seen as a "shot" when it's just stating the facts. Weber has been let go. Mentioning it isn't a shot.

A lot of Cyclones fans have told me they have no issues whatsoever with what I post. It's a very small group of Cyclones fans that still have a problem with a team that's resides alongside the Mohawks, Swords, Stingers and Tigers. Some 17 years later, you'd think everyone would be over it.

It's time, Scuba, for you and a couple others to start seeing things for what they are rather than what you perceive them to be.

Don, honestly...of the 1400 or so posts here authored by yourself, at least 1000 of them has elicited some type of response from Clone faithfuls. You are perpetually stirring the pot. I suppose most of the folks here have learned to simply ignore you, my guess is most feel the same, I cannot speak on behalf of those folks but it is my assumption. Seems like I can even recall folks requesting you banned from here. As for the axe, I don't know, you tell me why you feel it so important to continually fire shots?

Why do I pay any attention to you at all?

Axe to grind about what? This should be good.

Like I said before.......complete and utter poor form and your connections should be reconsidering letting you into their inner circles for fear you might run to the internet to prove your point and let another cat out of the bag. I fear this is exactly the type of slip from someone trying to prop their ego only to have a Chuck Weber family member finding out about it before Chuck can tell them himself, unlikely yes, impossible no. I'm crazy surprised at you Don seeing you are in public relations, I suggest the next time your company has something in the works, why not come on here and blab about it before an official announcement and see what might happen.........again, poor form! Hopefully it didn't require a official announcement and Weber has gone on his merry way, but seriously totally outside of protocol if an offical announcement if forthcoming.

Get a grip, Scuba! The Weber family has known for a long time he wasn't going to be offered a new contract.

It wasn't even a one-on-one conversation when I was told he was looking for work. It would help if you knew what you were talking about before going off on a rampage. (Pun intended)

Thanks Elvis for letting us know his contract is expiring. This really makes
DH's news so less important. The impression I had was he still had time left
and he was being released. With back to back out of the playoffs finishes, a
coaching change can be expected. Good luck Coach Weber on your next destination.
If Las Vegas gets its arena problem solved, they could hire him to rebuild the
team for the 2015-16 season.

There won't be any official announcement. Chuck isn't being fired. This was the last year of his contract. He was removed from his head coaching position, made "associate head coach/head of hockey opperations," and in a few days his contract will likely quietly expire. Chuck was hired by Mike Santos and when Florida relieved Santos of his GM duties in San Antonio, the writing was on the wall for Weber. Also, you can't rely on the Rampage website; many AHL websites practically sit dormant all summer long since many are run by interns. I recall a year or so back when I was researching for a CycWords post in mid summer can could find no information listing personnel moves by teams. It was mid July and the Admirals website still listed their season ending roster and coaching staff despite changes to both occurring.

I happen to agree with bags an all points, I take no satisfaction from ANY man losing his job, especially at the expense of proving myself right about his coaching abilities, if I remember correctly from previous threads.

I don't doubt for a second that Don has his connections however I would imagine those connections would be short lived if everytime I gave Don some insider information and he posted it all over the internet. Bags is right, I haven't seen an official press release yet, It may be true, maybe not however I don't think it is proper or professional to make such statements ahead of anything offical.....but to each their own.

Seems to be common knowledge to everyone but Cyclones fans.

Okay that's fine but why did you feel you needed to bring this up the
day after we lost in the finals ? I think news like this should be
announced only after it is released by the club in this case. We once
had someone at work who came across a list of future layoffs and released
the news before it happened. As you can imagine, this went over like a
lead balloon. Please keep your inside info like this to yourself until
it's official. Thank You.

No jumping the gun here, Bags. Just because he is still listed on the Rampage website doesn't mean it hasn't happened yet. He was informed at the end of the season he wasn't going to be back and was free to pursue other opportunities.

Some of the players that appear on the Rampage roster on the website have also been told by Florida they won't be re-signed.

There are personnel moves made by teams in April that don't get announced until after July 1.

When Cincinnati Gardens purchased the Baltimore Bandits in January of 1997, it wasn't announced until May 1. But people knew about it.
